Family Watch International

Family Watch International, a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization founded in 1999, works through education, family policy advocacy and family-based humanitarian aid to strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society. FWI is committed to preserving and protecting marriage and the traditional family and to promoting family-based solutions to world problems.

With consultative status at the United Nations, FWI works closely with UN delegates and governments to promote and protect the family around the world as well as in the United States. FWI is also a partner in the World Congress of Families.

Family Watch International Activities

The Family Watch team works with volunteers and professionals across the world to:

  • Identify, analyze, and monitor the emerging cultural, social, and legal dynamics affecting family stability and help formulate and promote solutions.
  • Educate the public, policymakers, and the media about both threats and opportunities regarding the family.
  • Monitor, report on, and participate in UN conferences and other international forums affecting families worldwide.
  • Manage and grow a database of individuals and organizations concerned about issues relating to the family and, when necessary, broadcast advisories and requests for action to segments of the database.
  • Sponsor and report on cutting-edge research on emerging family issues.
  • Educate government leaders and individuals around the world, and particularly the rising generation, regarding methods for establishing and maintaining stable and successful family life.
  • Promote policies that facilitate domestic and international adoption.
